Do any of you (or other admins) have a Reddit account you would be willing to reveal here? I’ve come across many Redditors who are interested in Lemmy but give up after experiencing issues on signup. I think the ability to have instance admins reach out to users on Reddit directly could be a useful tool in reducing the friction of the Lemmy onboarding process.
I won't reveal my main Reddit account, but I just created an alt for the purpose: https://www.reddit.com/user/lemmy-kersploosh/
You can send people my way. I will do my best to help!
Thanks! Added for lemmy.world. May I put you down for sh.itjust.works as well?
- lemmynsfw.com - there's !lemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com but only mods can create posts. I couldn't find any direct equivalent to a support comm.
- lemmygrad.ml - !questions@lemmygrad.ml ; there's also !announcements@lemmygrad.ml for official content
- lemmy.eco.br - support strictu sensu is done through Matrix, https://matrix.to/#/#lemmyecobr:matrix.org . But there's also !brasil@lemmy.eco.br to talk about the server.
