Yeah there's a similar meme which I cannot find which has more of a sawtooth line; when it goes up, MAGA boi says: Trump is a genius, when it goes down he says: that's just the market, and it will take care of itself. Or something. But the "saw" itself is tilted downwards.
Thank you so much, I was searching for this.
I had an idea for a different twist on it based on your description
It's 3 panels of a sawtooth going directly right like ////\ with the magat at the bottom center commenting on each part
But then the last panel has the magat in the lower left, revealing the sawtooth had a downward trajectory the whole time.
Hopefully that makes sense because I can't draw lol
[Edit] I made it in CAD but I'm too lazy to transfer it from my work PC so enjoy a photo of my monitor
Is this loss?
No, this is a missed opportunity. Fuck.
People always forget about Bogle. The US economy will trend upward, minus the current deficit. If the US economy fails, so does the index fund.
My point is that when the US fails, the index fails. The assumption is that the US economy will never fail. We never thought this would happen in our lifetime. Now it is, and now we're fucked.
If the US economy fails, so does the index fund.
The market is typically the inverse of the Dollar. So as Trump destroys America and the Dollar goes down, the market will go up.
Numerically, not financially, but that's also true.
