It's called deep frying, and it's cool in some circles.

[–] Droggelbecher@lemmy.world 0 points 2 months ago

Ummm...yeah. Let's say I intentionally fried the meme.

Interesting, what's teachers pay teachers?

[–] Beebabe@lemmy.world 0 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Quick place to grab common visual stimuli found in classrooms. Everything from decorative, to behavioral charts and data sheets. Free or very cheap educational resources basically.

Ooh I'll check it out, I teach night school maths while doing my masters.

[–] Beebabe@lemmy.world 0 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I don’t want to oversell it. A lot of it is super basic, meant for elementary and special education. However there may be some good inspiration. Good luck. :)

So, what are the security issues in all of python3?

TBH, 98% of security problems in the Python ecosystem boil down to mission critical projects using old versions of libraries or straight up unmaintained libraries, where the library in question is 100+ megabytes of who knows what, but the project only imports one function, the utility of which the devs could have recreated themselves in 15 minutes without needing to use the library, especially lately when everyone just imports what the AI tells them to import.

Similar for me, but the electrical engineering side of spacecraft

I like that you are not using google a lot (even if its just for the meme)

[–] Droggelbecher@lemmy.world 0 points 2 months ago

I don't use the search engine at all anymore. The mail migration is still on my to do list.

I'm 100% the guy on the right (except I don't think IQ is very meaningful and I also don't have my PhD yet)

[–] roscoe@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 2 months ago

I had a chance run in with one of my profs and his TA at a bar. He was the department chair but got roped into teaching an undergrad class that semester. He was basically that guy on the right, and the TA was on his way there. The insights into what life as a physics PhD was really like that I gleaned from that conversation is why I'm not the guy on the right and instead found something easy and high paying with a different major. Sometimes I feel like I might have wasted my natural ability, but I think I'm probably much happier. Also, maybe I'm just not that smart anyway and my absence is absolutely no loss to the field.

I'm an aerospace engineer. Turns out editing a meme on Android is a whole ordeal, so sorry for the shit quality.
