And yet I-35 through downtown Austin was approved. Houston continued to widen their highways despite no one wanting it. And Amtrak still sucks. Trains deeailing every day. I was not impressed by his tenure. Seemed very “business as usual”. Just one more lane bro!

Yeah, "I used to pretend to work here" would be more accurate if still a bit charitable.
Say what you will about his complete lack of guiding principles and substance (and I do), but the dude is a grandmaster at failing upwards!
