I used to enjoy asmogold years ago when it was mostly just showing and talking about gaming (WoW mount offs etc)...then he started showing who he really was more and more and I noped out.

Not only are the countries he is saying have "fine" refugees don't even speak English as an official language, Africa as a continent has the largest amount of countries that speak English:
Most other African countries speak French, Spanish or another European language as an official language. So what is the issue here? Many Africans have immigrated to Western countries and have integrated fine. It's insane that Twitch is allowing this kind of rhetoric to be displayed in full velocity on this platform.
I don't get it. The first time I tuned into his stream he was screaming at his raid and being a complete ass in his disgusting neckbeard nest. Same thing the next few times I got curious enough to turn his stream on. At no point in time did he ever appear to not be a giant steaming pile of shit.
They only show their true colors when the feel that it is safe for them to do so. So this says more about Twitch and our current society than about this asshole.
The part I like is that these fucking assholes will raise hell about "making things political!!!" if they happen to hear an opposing opinion.
I think they should all be hanged.

that dint take long , on reddit where they were calling HASAN a hack, and was defending asmongold for being "real". they are all alike.
Only heard about him for the first time recently, in the context of the Stop Killing Games initiative. He spoke in support of it (which is a good thing, yay), and is apparently involved in some way in the drama that gave SKG the boost it needed.
Trying to figure out who the hell he is and how he ties into it, I watched one of his videos on YouTube (reacting to someone else's video about SKG). Instantly got the impression that he's an asshole.. But at least he's on the right side when it comes to SKG.
He used to play world of Warcraft and seems good at it, at least in the old stuff. Then he got famous and now he’s the guy to watch if you like unhinged untreated mental illnesses. Beats me why anyone cares what this neckbeard thinks. It’s not like he’s done anything with his life

Baffles me why would anyone watch him at all. Maybe people watch him to see him destroy himself as in many other cases online. It it is that, then fuck all those enablers and let their life be a soulless, joyless, empty life.
People connect with him because he feels relatable and "genuine" and if that boggles you, we who can type and read words vastly underestimate how powerful this kind of "don't give a shit how stupid people think I am" persona really is.
Why should we be at all surprised when people like Joe Rogan and Donald Trump himself are so popular with people for their "charisma." Charisma doesn't mean suave and smart, it means you can charm some certain segment of people, particularly those who can't tell the difference between confidence and dimwittedness.
I would debate that Asmongold has a Charisma. People, for the reason unbeknownst to me, are enjoying to watch other people destroy themselves. Typically, their target already shows some dysfunctional behavior. Asmon is textbook this case. There is no charisma. He is just attracting spectators by destroying his image and his personality. I saw same happen to many streamers and influencers and Asmon is not a special case. He is the case.

Most Americans barely speak comprehensible English. We tolerate that, so it's not much for them to do the same in return.
Considering Twitch is owned by Amazon, which is owned by Jeff Bezos, I don't think it's really all that insane that Twitch allows this. And I'm sure as hell that Asmongold has made statements more unhinged than this.
I am from Germany and the English skills of the most citizens are not the yellow of the egg.

Lol I remember Dunkey complaining about this guy and twitch streamers in general showing up to E3 because "The only Twitch streamer that plays games is Pete Dorr, and he wasn't even on there"
