Right - a guy who's known to have visited Epstein's island is denying the conspiracy theories about his oh-so-convenient death.

That has all the credibility of a four-year-old with chocolate on his fingers and crumbs on his face saying "Cookies? What cookies?"

Bill Barr's father got Epstein hired at some elite private NYC high school as a math teacher. Epstein didn't even have a degree. Bill Barr was the Attorney General when Epstein died, and visited the jail like the day before.

Bill Barr's father also wrote some sci-fi.

Becky Ferreira has described the novel as "highly unsettling", due to its depiction of rape of enslaved people, particularly teenage girls, and other coercive sex acts. The sex acts described are performed "for the dual purposes of entertainment and controlled procreation".[5] Ferreira found disgusting the novel's fixation on the sexualization of adolescents. She notes that the adult characters are subjected to infantilization.

“Bondi just made it all worse with this memo,” he wrote. “What a terrible, terrible idea it was to write this memo. It’s also incredibly insulting to our intelligence.”

Noting her prior claim on Fox that she was in possession of Epstein’s “client list,” he commented, “Was she lying then or is she lying now?”

Laura Loomer also blamed Bondi.

“Blondi lied,” she posted on X, using the nickname she typically utilizes for the attorney general. “She was always lying.”

Others were less specific about who was responsible for the cover-up.

“We were all told more was coming,” Jack Posobiec lamented. “That answers were out there and would be provided. Incredible how utterly mismanaged this Epstein mess has been. And it didn’t have to be.”

Oh no the corrupt fuckwit assholes we swept into office are corrupt fuckwit assholes.

Can they just eat themselves already? The in fighting always seems less serious than how they attack outsiders

Make a hubbub, make it about the hubbub, let it die down, and move on. You never have to do anything if you really act like you're going to do something.

They'll just act like none of this ever happened in a few days. Trump could rape blind kids while doing coke on live TV, maga would find a way to blame Biden. The future of the USA will be deceided trough violence, one way or another.

Acting like a dead pedophile was going to grant wishes for you was easily the stupidest part of modern American politics anyway.

Somewhere in this Epstein mess, there has to be some hero who is preventing that data from being released in a modified state. Something is stopping them from conveniently rewriting that history, and I'm utterly grateful for it.

Now, if that could only result in a leak, we'd all be better off.

Eggs and Conspiracy Theories was all it took to elect the clown administration. That's such a low bar.

[–] Wazowski@lemmy.world 4 points 16 hours ago

They can all eat shit and die.

[–] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 2 points 13 hours ago

They'll lightly snack on their own, maybe, but it won't be long until they find an excuse to go back to eating everyone else, as usual.
