Soooooo does this mean they're filibustering it? Are they not being useless for the first time in... well, a long fucking time?

The filibuster rule doesn't apply to bills that are part of the budget reconciliation process.

I knew that, but I thought the "Big Beautiful Bill" (what a stupid fucking name. Typing that out makes me hate myself a little) was a regular bill, not a budget reconciliation.

Reconciliation is a process, which applies to budget bills like this one. It's also the reason the Senate Parliamentarian got involved, some of the shit they tried to pull doesn't count as budget related

lol, no....they don't know how to filibuster, they're just going to be compliant & complicit

So, the fact that they already did the longest standing filibuster in US history missed your attention? The fact that they found a way to effectively filibuster this filibuster exempt bill is irrelevant? I guess you get points for being devoted to your narrative. How many Senate Democrats voted with the Republicans anyways?

Crazy me, thinking this filibuster less bill could get filibustered....so silly of me.

Maybe it would have already been rewritten if Schumer and the other turds didn't let the temporary budget pass and forced a shutdown.

IT IS ALL BULLSHIT THEATER

The filibuster literally can't be used on a reconciliation bill. It's just not a thing. Democrats used other Senate rules to effectively filibuster the bill by forcing a full reading on the Senate floor. It's not as effective as a filibuster, but it served the same purpose.

I'm sorry, but I just can't take your demands of Democrats seriously when you can't bother to even RTFA to understand what you're demanding. And this is from someone who lothes the neoliberal establishment and especially Schumer. I'm entirely in your corner on the temporary budget, but that was not part of your previous comment or my response.
