Imagine being the guy going down the waterslide in front of Kim Jong Un. How do you strike the balance between crying your eyes out for being in the presence of dear leader and pretending you're having enough fun?

[–] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 21 points 1 week ago (1 children)

He’s probably a highly decorated special forces veteran, chosen specifically for the honour.

[–] FelixCress@lemmy.world 8 points 1 week ago

I would watch this, especially if he is on the slide in full uniform with all the medals and this big hat they wear.

Imagine, having to slide down the slope in front of the supreme leader and getting your whole family imprisoned because you didnt meet their expectation

Worse, I think one of them is his sister. That's the kind of woman who would have a man manually disassembled.

This might be the funniest photo on the internet. A dictator watches his general enjoy a summer swim.

Literal jump the shark moment for humanity

Regardless of bending the narrative to suit your needs, they couldn't come up with any other top achievement, a water park hardly seems like an achievement for a country, I wouldn't even be impressed for one of the microstates.

Wonder how many people died building it

Capitalists would have you believe that only they can build great things through the profit motive. This shows what workers can accomplish when they know they too will be able to enjoy the products of their labor!

[–] y0kai@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Or what can be accomplished at the threat of inprisonment.

[–] AmidFuror@fedia.io 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You must be confused, comrade. A happy worker will gladly contribute to the benefit of the State and the People. A worker who does not wish to do so is unhappy. Perhaps he has succumbed to Capitalist propaganda.

He needs to go to a place where he can be re-educated. These centers should not be mistaken for prisons.

The State cannot rest until all workers are happy.

[–] y0kai@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 week ago

Lmao oh my bad I forgot about reeducation and the State's goal of happiness. Carry on.

[–] socsa@piefed.social 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Bravo, I legitimately cannot tell if this is meant to be satire or tankie brain rot
