Just your everyday racism at work.

Horrible accident that will haunt multiple people forever and government just wants to make it worse.

Most DAs are complete fucking tools.

SAY NOTHING WITHOUT A LAWYER PRESENT

Each parent was initially held on a $1.5 million bond before it was reduced to $150,000.

What the fuck is the rationale for this? Are they a flight risk? Are they a danger to the community? If they had a lot of money would that somehow make them more eligible for release?

Even if you were a complete fucking moron, like this DA, and thought they were reckless parents for letting kids walk home in the car-first hellholes we live in, you could just remove their kids from their custody.

They have a bunch of other children that just lost their brother and need them now. I hope this blows up and all the assholes involved in this idiotic outcome lose their jobs, because they are far more dangerous to their community than parents who think kids can walk two blocks unaccompanied.

District Attorney Travis Page. Gaston County. Prosecutorial District 38. (704) 852-3113. Tell him your thoughts. I've got no doubt he was allowed to roam as a child by his parents.

Why can't they just say their religion says cars can't kill kids?

Sure, it's not based on reality. But neither is the antivax parents.

Depending on the neighborhood, 2 blocks might not be a big deal.

They plead guilty to felony child abuse to avoid manslaughter charges and received a suspended sentence. Which is still complete bullshit.
