This piece mixes statements from before Trump's attack with the descriptor "mainstream" Democrats to act like the "normal" response from "regular" Democrats is to support him. I have little faith they'll grow a backbone now, but Schumer's response to the bombing was:

"President Trump must provide the American people and Congress clear answers on the actions taken tonight and their implications for the safety of Americans," Schumer said in a statement. "No president should be allowed to unilaterally march this nation into something as consequential as war with erratic threats and no strategy. Confronting Iran's ruthless campaign of terror, nuclear ambitions, and regional aggression demands strength, resolve, and strategic clarity. The danger of wider, longer, and more devastating war has now dramatically increased."

Not:

"The United States’ commitment to Israel’s security and defense must be ironclad as they prepare for Iran’s response.”

So if you're writing a piece about how the Democrats are split on the strikes, maybe actually use quotes from after the strikes to make your case. Three different authors collaborated to put out this trash journalism.

American media is the last place I'd go for meaningful information on these events, even if it is PBS.
