It will be interesting to see what happens, maybe this will be the revolution that removes us from the capitalistic hell scape we are in and bring in an even better socialist society here in Canada. None of this half assed things with conservatives trying to push it away.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Good.
Best thing that could happen to the world is that the US failed as a state and went down so hard that they stop screwing with the rest of the countries.
While I do not disagree; the US failing and crumbling would do a lot to hurt the world.
And you are right but the way I see it, it's the lesser evil. I think it's way worse for the world if we have a functioning US state lead by a band of nazis as we have now.
Well its the first time it has been nazi... Bring back Obama and the world is ok again. Not saying he was perfect but he was good for a us president.
You know who steps into that place? China and the CCP...the US has its faults and I'm no way trying to defend them, but you do not want China ruling the global markets.
America won't disappear, it'll just get more unstable. That's what I'm worried about with all these wars.
That said, America's economic heft (particularly shale and world reserve currency status) is a core part of America's ability to assert influence.
I don't think America failing is a great thing. America knowing it can fail can only improve matters though.
