Electric car buyers donโ€™t like right-wing politics. This means Elon Muskโ€™s position at Tesla is very vulnerable and susceptible to economic pressure.

Someone who owns an older Tesla model is probably someone who regrets their purcharse today. But someone who shows up in a 2025 Tesla knew exactly who they gave their money to.

Make of that what you will. Me, I reckon it's worth learning your Teslas because people truly are what they drive in this particular instance. There's no doubt about these particular year / models.

Are these all AI generated?

That's not what the Y or the S look like. Also the cybertruck doesn't have door handles.

tesla.com. Do your research. Takes 10 seconds.

Edit: and for what it's worth, outside of the Plaid Model S that has a slightly wider wheelbase, the Model S hasn't changed appearance since 2017 or so, and the Model X has looked the same since launch in 2016 afaik.

They are all so fucking ugly. Why can't this guy sign off on a good looking car?! I'm not even being bias, I really think they look either boring, or like a literal dumpster.

Don't exclude. There are definitely some self important people driving older Teslas, too. A lot of previous BMW drivers made the switch years ago for image reasons.

โ€œElectric car buyers donโ€™t like right-wing politicsโ€? Actually I think itโ€™s that electric car buyers donโ€™t like Nazis.

The cyber trucks never disappoint in making me laugh. I will miss that guaranteed amusement.

I think you mean the IncEl Camino.

Every time we're out and I see one I make a point to call them swasticars out loud.

Swasticar. Nice.

I'm poor af and couldn't even afford a good second hand car at the moment. Last month I spent a bunch of money and a lot of time at a mate who has a car lift to fix up my car. The costs to get it fixed at a garage would have been triple and it wouldn't pass MOT if I didn't fix it.

But I'll be sure not to buy any Teslas
