I’m looking for a European designed and made aluminium suitcase. Seems Tumi are made is Asia…any others out there worth looking at?

Rimowa is still made in Germany I believe.

Edit: Zarges is made in Germany and Hungary if you want something that is super basic, and works. It's not designed as luggage, which is good and bad. Good is that you don't have extra weight and loss of packing volume from telescoping handles and wheels. Bad is that you really want an airport trolley.

Titan bags makes the same style as Rimowa in polycarbonate in Germany.

Polycarbonate is durable, except in extreme cold.

Looks like they do have options with wheels and telescoping handles too https://www.zarges.com/en/products/k-424xc-mobile-box-full-equipment-packages

For those who'll open this thread to look for general luggage not necessarily made in Europe, IT Luggage is decent (I have 3 suitcases from like 2018 that went through about a dozen short flights and 2 long haul ones). UK-based company and most likely made in China.

Came across these guys here in Denmark: https://nordic-case.dk/collections/frontpage

Danish company but made in China with a lifetime warranty...difficult to justify the price of a Rimowa over that.
