I really liked She-Hulk and would enjoy seeing more.
Same!
I really wish they'd leaned harder into the sitcom format and made each episode a standalone weird-case-of-the-week featuring some random C- or D-list character. The overarching plot involving the incels could have been dropped altogether.
TBH I didn't really care for the overarching plot, but I see what they were going for. Incels were always going to hate the show, and She-Hulk's character is a meta commentary on the comics and society, so it does make sense, but agree the implementation could have been better.
Watching them as they came out, hearing the incel complaints, and watching the next episode that addressed all of the complaints was some glorious real time shit. It may not have stuck the landing perfectly at the end, but I loved the journey and I'm glad it was in there.
I really loved that show. It's just a shame it cost so much to produce.
There are also SOOO many films they could pull from.
After each film we could have a legal drama.
Or we can focus on someone who's car was thrown at a bad guy trying to get an insurance payout.
There are so many options. We should be getting She-Hulk every year or more.
It's rare that I'm actually genuinely rooting for a hetero relationship in stories. Honestly, I just found them adorable together. And Jen really deserved a win after the heartbreak.
