this, and also the swastitruck poorly executes them, it actually doesnt crumple as it should and that makes it that much more unsafe. IIRC it doesnt pass any collision safety standard.
probably get sliced in half by the cybertruck parts flying at you.
Interesting hypothesis based on this case study. I propose we test it with a sample size of a few thousand.
I mean yeah. I hate nazi mobiles like every one but it would be an issue if it didn't do that on impact.
That said when they were first announced and talking about using SpaceX spaceship steel it sounded like it wouldn't have crumple zones.

I don't think you can pass the federal safety standard without them honestly. Not that Musk cares about the law or anything though...
Well he was driving one around without side mirrors... Looking it up apparently dealers are required to in the US, but some places at least may allow no side mirrors if a customer removes them? I can't believe all states would allow that.
On the other hand perhaps that issue would address other issues.

It seems if the locking doors don't ensure you cook in the event of a fire, the windshield will cut your entire head off. Great safety standards there!

It really doesn't, and that's a problem. It has like 2 feet of crumple zone in the front so anything head on above 40mph is going to snap your friggin neck.
