Yo, that's fifty dollars for a tee shirt.

[–] Sudomeapizza@lemm.ee 4 points 3 weeks ago (3 children)

that's either the price of tarrifs, or the cost of domestic production. labor and shipping isn't exactly cheap here compared to international production and shipping over seas...

plus if they're doing smaller runs, the cost per tee will be higher.

They are cheap Chinese clothes. I'm sure it's mostly greed.

Ive been basing my guess on this video by Gamers Nexus. It doesnt exactly apply directly to all the metals that are referenced in that video, but tarrifs themselves are in some cases being doubled or more.

And exactly that, the cheapness of items under a certain dollar amount were previously exempt via the De Minimis rule/law.

I dont say that i know or understand much of it. But those are my guesses. It very well may be that that there's a brand tax applied.

Limited edition let's do some simple addition.

Fifty dollars for a tee shirt, that's just some ignorant bullshit.

I call that getting swindled and pimped.

Shit, I call that getting tricked by a business.

That shirt is hella dope

And having the same one as six other people in this post is a hella don't.

Not to mention the cost of bees.

I haven't seen an actually good tshirt for less than that in years. I mean, yeah you can get tshirts for like $6; but they are the most uncomfortable materials, have a fucked up cut, and the silk screening will flake off in a month.

If anyone is having issues finding the company to buy shirts, there is a link in the story, and it is "thecolacorporation".
