Ontario is imposing a 25 per cent surcharge on all U.S.-bound electricity as part of its retaliatory measures against U.S. President Donald Trumpโ€™s tariffs on Canadian goods.

Canada needs to keep adding such surcharges until Trump apologizes for threatening to make Canada the 51st state and US congress enshrines into law that tariffs cannot be used as an economic weapon against Canada without 60%+ approval of congress. The penalty for the POTUS doing this to be immediate loss of position, pending trial.
