Oh yeah, it's the Mercator projection's silliness made visible. Maybe that's why Trump wants Greenland in the first place...

It's hilarious when you slide a country toward one of the poles and it suddenly becomes larger than the entire planet.

Even when knowing about this effect on maps I didn't think Madagascar was larger than Sweden, that's cool!
