They're riding on the "decentralization" fad that just looks like Twitter. Once they hit some MAU milestone, they'll lose the wording, implement ads and tracking, censorship, and be just like Twitter.

I moved to a different instance to help distribute the load. Unfortunately so many big coms are on there. Though if they went away, I bet those coms would get recreated quickly on other instances.
