The article did a good job answering questions. Also strongly reminded me that I would have been a horrible surgeon or doctor after looking at those photos.

It's crazy that we can restore vision with the most advanced laser technology... or by putting a lens inside someone's tooth, then rigging that up into their eye socket!
I remember reading about the possibility of this in a middle school prep book a couple decades ago. Its amazing that it's finally real.

Probably because it needs to be flexible.
I mean your not scratching your eyeballs and they do a good job keeping stuff out. Have you ever scratched your lens? I know people who have and it's irritating.
yeah but sometimes stuff gets in, though I guess without an eyelid that may not be an issue
The surgery's acronym is "Oh! Okay pee."
My eyes are perfect, but my teeth are fucked....
Does this process work in reverse?
Yes we can make your teeth into eyeballs but you can only eat jello, and only once.
Both of mine are terrible. Anyone care to make a uhh donation? Maybe it'll fix my keratoconus
