Not casting aspersions or trying to cancel Skyrim Grandma, but the BDS movement is calling for a Microsoft (and by extension Bethesda) boycott. If you're thinking about buying Oblivion Remastered, maybe don't.

If you have an ethics dilemma don’t buy any video games. None of the studios are doing what they should or paying their people well. None of these corporations are your friends, end the billionaire bosses aren’t good people, not even Gabe.

It’s Microsoft today, Nintendo yesterday, Sony the day before, steam tomorrow, cycle back, etc.

Again you may as well quit gaming if you’re worried about corporate greed

Only big studio gaming. There are still indie games. Although where you get it also would matter if its ethically important to you.
