Aeonflux, except I don't actually bother trying to defend it.
I put Ultraviolet next to this too. I'm not here for cohesive world building, I'm here for gratuitous sci-fi action perpetrated by a woman with a bad haircut.
Mirror’s Edge was if both of these movies merged into one and made something actually good.
I jest, but I’ve seen both and while they’re gorgeous, I basically ended up ignoring plot.
My brain puts Equilibrium in the same universe.
The movie, or the show?
The movie. Didn't know there was a show.
Oh boy you're in for a treat! 3 seasons of it!
🤦 The movie is based on shorts that aired on MTV's Liquid Television in the mid 90's.
It eventually got its own full show as well.
The film was better than the old MTV series it was based on. They built a compelling world in the animated version, but the film delivered on that vision.
