With their more recent games they have gotten less bad with their dlc, the base games seem a lot more feature rich (I could easily play stellaris, vic 3 and ck3 without feeling like I am missing parts of the game. With eu4, the dlc seem necessary). They will definitely release too much dlc, but it probably (hopefully) won't be required like in eu4

Roads to Power DLC is so WHAT THE FUCK completely different game.

When I meant missing parts I meant stuff I would notice missing while playing the game with no dlc. This happens a lot in eu4 and almost never in ck3. Although I might try roads to power after hearing about it!

That's the mark of a great DLC! The base game is fun on its own and the DLC adds a lot to that.
