pities this poor, fondue-deprived child

Ah so this what cheese fondue is. We don't really have that here but will try and find a good restaurant nearby that sells one.

It's not that hard to make it yourself. If you can get some decent cheese.

I am pretty bad at cooking although this does look easy to cook. And whenever I want to try something new for the first time, I always try to find a good restaurant that makes it as authentic as possible so I can decide whether its something I like.

For fondue you can quite literally get a small heater and pre-made cheese that will melt at the temp.the heater is set to. My parents spring for the fancy one that did chocolate as well when I was a kid

Making it from scratch is pretty easy too, honestly, it's like making a cheese sauce for Mac and cheese but you do it in a pot, add wine, and use a different cheese. If you can boil 4 ingredients together and mix, and find some bread to dip it in, you're golden
