My wife's been quietly concerned because I bought a pistol a few months ago.
Caught the articles recently about how they're wanting to render US citizens to El Salvador. Sent them to her.
"This is why I own a firearm."
She didn't say anything in response, but I think she gets it now.
Same way my wife feels. She stop questioning why I got my stuff after the first term.
Yeah, owning a gun is not enough. If you don't train with it regularly, as well as understand proper use scenarios, you may as well just hand the thing over to people who are trying to fuck with you, because guaranteed that's all you will be good for in that moment.
