No, it was real. He is complaining that the left is misrepresenting him by claiming that the Nazi stuff was fake, OBVIOUSLY!
He's admitting that he's a fraud, a fake, a phony.
He obviously just greeted everyone enthusiastically.
It obviously meant "my heart goes out to you"
