Second, I'm referencing people in red states that typically destroy the roadside vigils, or memorials for people who were murdered.

Or, perhaps you're alluding to any number of dead white rapists w/ stars & stripes on their costumes that stood, uncorrected, for too long to be excusable?

I literally have no clue what you are going on about...I was talking about the vigils/roadside memorials that maga weirdos tend to destroy that are on the sides of the road. No clue why the downvotes, or whatever the heck that other person was rambling about. I assume they are confused.

No. I've literally never heard of such a thing and nobody would do that. No idea what op is going on about.

I can't verify. I was in a deep red state for a while, and I know I drove past about 15 various roadside memorials that were there for 10+ years in some cases.
Yeah. I mean not to stick up for right wing butt bags but I just can’t see that being a common thing there. The states does have a habit of disappointing me though.
Yeah this is one of those times that there should have been more words in the post first draft. A lot of people on the right say 'them' in scare quotes to talk about people they consider "undesireables"

A different way of putting it....the ones who insult the kid in the top photo, would also be the same ones who would destroy app the flowers for the slain kids in the bottom photo.
I read the "them" statement as you pinning it as the top photo kids being the ones destroying the memorial. Plain and simple, I thought you were a maga asshole. There was no way of understanding what you were really saying with your vague statement. My bad.
For sure NOT supportive of their ideology. Everyone deserves a good life. I understand my comments may not come across clear and it's something I need to work on.
The issue is that nobody has ever heard of anyone destroying roadside memorials. There is no comparison because it isn't a thing.
I've literally seen videos of people kicking candles over, smashing photos and ripping flowers before fleeing in their pickup truck, but ok.
