  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Hundreds of international students in the US are getting an email from the US Department of State (DOS) asking them to self-deport owing to campus activism. Immigration attorneys’ contacted by TOI affirmed this development and added a few Indian students may also be at the receiving end of such emails – for something as innocuous as sharing a social media post.

It is not just international students who physically participated in campus activism but also those who shared or liked ‘anti-national’ posts that are the target of these emails, said an immigration attorney.

This crackdown is based on social-media reviews being conducted by DOS (which includes Consulate officials). Thus, even new student applications be it for an F (academic study visa), M (vocational study visa) or J (exchange visa) will also come under such social media scrutiny.

Applicants will be denied the opportunity to study in the US.

As a United States dissident fuck this country

Only goal in this country has been oppression of citizens so as to have a stock of warm bodies to fill the factories, restaurants, ecectera since the start

Same reason Republicans got Roe v Wade overturned and the same reason Democrats never defended it

Also same reason neither party has pushed for living wages and of course students have to go especially the college taught ones because they might disrupt the system with all that new found knowledge

Pollution is also kept high because it breeds low class pull up by your own bootstraps bubba spitting rednecks that will help continue the narrative of the system as well as provide a stable slave labor workforce

Education funding is kept at abysmally low levels for the same reasons

Constant crapper drain that for the citizens never ends but constantly churns out products for consumption for the small population actually running things

Eventually it be the same as that short story by the Chinese author that is about the last capitalist

About a dude that buys everything on the planet including air which he generously sells back to all the citizens who are unable to afford to go outside because they don't own the land or air as well as selling other resources which no one can go without with police being used to protect the interests/property of the last capitalist

Eventually the benevolent capitalist builds a space ship very economically including cryotubes because he did not include enough air or air makers for the ship and proceeds to evict everyone off his planet earth
