Not my fault you choose to use it and then are ignorant of stuff everyone else can see. Make better choices.

If you go around misgendering people, then no, we are not, and I'm in fact quite proud to not be "nice" about that.
Let me put it to you this way. If I see someone with a clearly female profile pic and display name getting called masculine terms, I'm going to aggressively call that shit out. So you can either:
Stop using a dumb app that removes your ability to see shit
Don't default to masculine terms for anonymous users
Don't get upset when you are called out for misgendering, just own up to it
Block me because you want to go around misgendering people and not getting called on it.
First, I didn't misgender anyone, second, I pointed out that a large chunk of Lemmy users don't see either of those things.
You're the one that took the ball and ran with it.
Defending misgendering and criticizing people for calling it out is in no way better than doing it yourself. I don't know why libs on here always play this, "Um, actually, I didn't say that, I just defended someone else saying it," bullshit. I do not care.
