If she were in it for the power, she'd use her new role as 'maverick' in the GOP's razor-thin margin to play kingmaker.
If she were in if for the money, she'd retire as soon as her pension vests.
If she were Truly Awakened, she'd resign as soon as she learned she's been tainted by a toxic system.

It’s not instant. But for a congresswoman, that’s an abrupt resignation.
Jan 5 2026 is the day her pension vests: 5 years of service.
Didn’t realize that.
But still. Not waiting 1 month and forfeiting a government pension, just to make a point? That seems stupid to me. And it’s not like she’s making a ridiculous amount of money from the pension.
To be clear, I don’t want to veer into defending her. I’m sure she makes tons of money from social media, which is kind of sickening.
i dont think she really cares about that, she gained millions during her time in the house.
Odd number considering they serve two year terms.
