People keep saying this (or things like it), even after we just watched the 2025 mid-terms where across the board districts flipped that went for Donald in 2024.
I dunno, man. I think this is evidence that your ingrained prejudices might be wrong, but we'll see.

All I can do is report what i see with my own 2 eyes. The racism runs deep here and often has no opposing viewpoints in the small ranch towns on the west side of the state.
I think it's bad strategy that Donald has embraced the Biden/Harris playbook and just decided to outright ignore the affordability crisis.
Red, Blue, doesn't matter. I don't think the cultist mentality of some will be enough to carry MAGA to victory in 2026 because you can't propagandize around millions being unable to afford their rent and put food on the dinner table, as Biden/Harris learned in 2024. Back then, Donald was the candidate of change. This time around, he and the people he endorses will be the candidates of starvation.
In many of those cases though voter turnout was down. Alabama of all places had a progressive-ish democrat for a few years because his opponent was credibly accused of being a pedophile. Red voters didn’t carry Doug Jones to the finish line, the inaction of red voters did.
That's arguably what lost Democrats the election in 2024, owing to their decision to ignore the affordability crisis. Now that Donald has embraced the Biden playbook on affordability and just decided to ignore it or attempt to propagandize around it, I think the 2026 election is going to be a bloodbath for MAGA.
You can't tell someone who does their own shopping, and finds every week that their $100 only buys them half as much, that the stock market being at all time highs means the economy is good.
most of americans are selfish voters, not racist voters...though obviously a large contingent are just...stupid racist motherfuckers that have their brain rotted by too much Murdoch (my dad being one of them), the latter only decides elections when normies can't be bothered to show up.
most arent racist though (not enough for it to influence their voting choices), most are just selfish.... republicans promise the most ratfuckery, and are the most predictable in their backstabbing (being proud in their cruelty/stupidity). any business in a red state can just plan for maximum-pain, pay their bribes, and they're probably golden for the next 4 years.
democrats...they're fucking shifty and too fucking smart. the bernies/AOC/mamdani's are the exception not the rule. most US politicians in general are coastal (or local) elites that think their dick cures cancer or something (going off all the sexual harassment cases/connections to epstein)....they're 100% going to abuse their position to fuck others over, some petty fucking grudge they've held for years or maybe just because they're bored, who knows.
if you have to choose between playing with a bad liar or a good liar...playing against the bad liar is just a good business strategy. and that's all america is, a business, the bottom line is the only thing sacred here...
