legally, he's a tyrant and the law protects him.
The courts declared that impeachment is the only option, not that there are zero options.
He was already impeached twice, they will do nothing besides symbolic tasks. so many people belong in jail, yet legally, that is now not possible because nothing trump does is illegal. and the dems will make a show of an impeachment then not remove him

Impeachment is one half of the process. If the Dems held a supermajority in the Senate he would have been removed.
Yes, this requires a lot of things to have been different, and everyone would have had to be following the intent of the constitution, not just the letter, but there exists a way to remove him and put him in jail.
You can throw your hands up and say he's immune from any consequences, but if everyone did that then it would really be true.
I'm not saying people should blindly hope and do nothing, but quitting is exactly what they want.
Impeachment doesn't go through the courts but is entirely a matter for Congress. They can impeach him for anything or nothing as long as they have the votes.
