Not quite. We're not much in a position to say much on this. Until we get out of our economic dependence on the US, being too vocal could make things worse for us without making things better for Venezuela. If we want to be able to do something we could perhaps send aid to the region. But more so get out of under the US'es thumb. If we gain independence, we'd be able to do material contribitions in events like this.

It betrays that our values are the complete submission to US empire. Arresting Huawei VP, supporting war on Russia, copying US tariffs on China, Defense pact with Philippines, Agreeing Mexican cartels are state sponsored terrorists, has not resulted in our lack of integrity being rewarded. We're just a corrupt shithole sycophantic colony that dares pretend to be freer and more democratic than those who resist our master's evil. No Canadian leader at any level has spoken against the murder spree or the massing Armada.

While there may be American oligarchs with influence who think a war on Canada seems like a bad idea, the shared zero integrity among cowards in the world means no one will say a peep if US extorts/aggresses Canada harder. After all, if we have no morals other than cowardice and evil, should we expect any defense, or strongly worded admonishments, from others, including allies, when we are abused?

No matter how appealing cowardice is, it is never rewarded, and you deservedly should feel like shit for it.

Then canada should shut the fuck up about sudan where canadian weapons are found. It should shut the fuck up about Palestine , it should shut the fuck up about the bullshit of Israel has thr right to defend it self It should shut the fuck up about human rights and democracy.

Usa is siding with Russia but Canada still rightfully support Ukraine so it has nothing to do with the dependence to the usa it's all about racism towards brown people and the neocolonial mentality. You guys are just hypocrite who don't want to admit our country is complicit with the usa crimes

I don't think so. We say and do things depending on interactions between people's prevailing attitudes, corporate interests and economic pressures. Some things are easier to say and do than others. Some things are desirable to say by more Canadians than others. Corporate interests are more aligned with some actions than others. I'm not making a moral judgement as to whetger we should be vocal about Venezuela. Personally, I'd like us to be but I'm not sure it's a good idea for Canada as a whole. I'm also making a suggestion on how we could put ourselves in a material position to be able to say and do more for people under threat.

If we can be vocal about certain human right abuses we should be silent about everything. Otherwise we are just hypocrites. We also has laws preventing our soldiers to participate in other militaries especially one doing a genocide . If we can't respect them we should withdraw from them
