it's either stress induced or due to long exposure of high sound levels. or both.
sounds works in logarithms, so if you are exposed to double rhe intensity (just +3dB), you need twice as long to recover from that. if you work in loud (think: noisy) environments make sure to wear protection (stuff in ears or active noise cancelling).
if it is not due to permanent hearing damage it will vanish but it will take time
