Nazis are nazis. None of the other things you listed are nazis. Even the comment you are replying to did not say they are nazis, they said they hold similar views to nazis. There are people in the US right now who say "I am a nazi." Those people are nazis. This is probably the worst comment to reply to for that gotcha.

So you CAN sit at a table with Nazis and not be a Nazi!? This is really going to shake things up!

Your comment is not the worst, hold your chin up

No one in this whole reply chain said that. Even if they did, I usually interpret people's words, so when someone says "sitting at the table with a nazi makes you a nazi" it means to me "not fighting evil makes you complicit in that evil." If they mean it literally makes you a nazi, then they are wrong, but I usually assume people aren't saying things that are insane since everyone I have talked to when asked has said the 1st one.

No one in this whole reply chain said that.

I didn't claim anyone here did at any time, it is a well-known talking point for some people at some times that is frequently used in Nazi discussions on the television and internet and in person.

I thought you knew that?!?

We agree, it is insane and it's defended as literal all. the. time. I've ignored this for years, now I just go with it to an absurd degree. I am not being literal, just like the phrase shouldn't be literal. I think this is funny, I apologize if it's boring to you.
