How can this not be sarcastic? Has Andrew Tate actually warned about Asians?
If people take everything at face value it's no wonder that Trump succeeds with making America great again. He says so, it must be true, let's vote for him.
I'd argue it's rather healthy for americans to not just assume that someone spouting rhetoric is being sarcastic. That attitude of extending the benefit of the doubt to people undeserving of it got us into this mess in the first place.
(Tho in this case, it's not that people don't realize they're being sarcastic - it's that what they're saying with that sarcasm is really, really off the mark, and they're being incredibly shitty in how they said it)
I don't get it. What does he say? Americans don't seek the fault at themselves and have racial, age and gender prejudices.
If that hurts, it's time to do some soul searching. How is that offensive to a wrong person?
Yeah that's exactly the problem - it's a meme criticizing ourselves for being too stupid not to simp out classified info to a pretty girl. The girl isn't the one being called out here, it's a joke about how frequently US contractors are caught doing this because of how dumb and uncontrollably horny they are.
Being called racist or sexist in response to a meme making a much more nuanced and cutting critique (especially one expressed in such a truly disgusting way) doesn't wound the ego or anything, it's just fuckin' annoying.
It only addresses the people who blame the girl. You don't do that, you shouldn't feel offended.
That's giving them a bit more credit than they should reasonably be given, but that's beside the point:
It ain't that I'm somehow offended, I'm just annoyed at how smug they acted while they were spectacularly missing the point (and that they did it in an incredibly crude way).
