It doesn't need RAM...
But the people who make RAM, are switching to what AI wants instead.
Crucial was one of the biggest names in RAM for decades... They just closed down so the parent company can make AI memory instead. Then of course it uses the same resources too.
What does AI training use instead? VRAM in gfx cards?
