We don't mind selling weapons, ammo, equipment, and vehicles to be sent to murder innocent children in Gaza. But we wouldn't want to anger the orange geriatric turd that's fucked with our economy and threatened our sovereignty. /s

What a fucking sad place Canada has become.

I mean, I guess it was my mistake for assuming literally everything that Trump says is a lie, but we obviously should've listened when he said he really likes Carney. Every day it's becoming even clearer why.

The advantage of reducing us to a two-party system like the US is that once that's done, the corruption can simply take over both options and now the corruption is in full control. People still feel like they have a choice, that maybe one is more or less corrupt than the other, but it's Kang and Kodos. Their differences are cosmetic. Their actions are the same. Neither option is the right choice. Meanwhile, the NDP stomp their hat like Ross Perot, and people fear throwing their vote away, while actually throwing their vote away to either of the two most corrupt parties in "strategic voting". Yeah, it's a "strategy" alright. Just not yours.

Well said.

The Conservative party was taken over by the Reform party when the Progressive Conservative and Canadian Alliance merged.

The Liberal party is essentially the old Progressive Conservative party. We have another kind of Mulroney right now as a PM.

As for the NDP, people can complain about them all they want, but they're the only good option we actually have to represent and defend the interests of the working class. The problem is that the media, largely owned by people with neo-liberal and conservative agendas, keep depicting them as a disorganized group of "wokes". And left-leaning parties are never left-leaning enough for lefties, honestly. But they're the best options for the working class. We should stop spreading opinions that are negative for the NDP and start championing them.

Trump can and will fuck Canada even harder and all we can do is try to lay low and hope the bully beats the shit out of someone else. Nobody is going to come help us if/when we piss him off enough. Sorry that this move doesn't fit your 2-dimensional view of how the world operates.

Maybe do what we can to help trigger a civil war down there so they fight themselves and burn out their resources on that instead.
