Yeah I read alot about those lingering sympthoms, they are very mysterius... What did you get more specifically?

I had a peritonsillar abscess and it took a long time to heal up even after the antibiotics. The doctor was proposing that I have my tonsils removed but I decided to wait and see. Supposedly this is a rare complication that can develop after a bad sore throat. I'm really careful about sore throats now.

Yeah first time i hear about it, but appearently 1 in 10000 people get it... Good thing it didnt grow so big it was causing more issues.

Ive been lucky so far with my health, but I will probably run into weird things too at some point.
