Why do foreigners hate our government for its domestic policy so much?
I don’t like the monarchy in UK but I don’t constantly spend energy hating on them, nor would it realistically stop me from visiting.
I guess it’s a hate boner thing.
It's not all foreigners. It's right-wing Americans. And if they didn't keep hating it, they'd have to admit that Canada is better governed than the USA in many respects. It's a challenge to their belief that they and their far-right dysfunction are the pinnacle of human existence.
You don't hate the monarchy in Canada?
But you have the same monarchy. So I guess you can complain about it after all!
