Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), a member of the Armed Services Committee, said Sunday that the body will put military officials “under oath” regarding reported follow-up strikes on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean.

“We’re going to have an investigation,” Kelly told host Kristen Welker on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “We’re going to have a public hearing. We’re going to put these folks under oath. And we’re going to find out what happened. And then, there needs to be accountability.”

CNN and The Washington Post reported Friday that the U.S. carried out a second strike on an accused drug-smuggling boat off the coast of Venezuela on Sept. 2, killing the remaining survivors of its initial attack.

I actually just recently donated to him

You REALLY shouldn't, unless you're ok with supporting genocide

I know that I'm probably going to be downvoted to hell for having the temerity to hold a Democrat establishment politician accountable on .world, but SURELY "don't donate to the people AIPAC are legally bribing" should be an acceptable standard regardless of whether or not you hold your nose and vote for them when there isn't any better alternative candidate available?

Got it. I'm just donating to anyone willing to publicly stand up to the administration right now and he hasn't backed down. I'm sure he and many others are receiving threats from both current administration and MAGATS alike. Besides protesting, I felt like it's my way of showing support. Like hey, we may disagree on a lot of other issues but I am in support of what you are doing right now. Our democracy is no longer a democracy and we need more allies fighting back against fascism. Most of the Democratic establishment is doing jack shit right now. Let's support people that do have a backbone and continue to push and criticize those that do not. That's my take on it
