Really the only thing that makes him special is that he finally recognizes the grift. He's otherwise a run-of-the-mill (ex-)MAGA influencer

Ah, I'm a bit hesitant to use that as an insult as my friend has been running a special education program for a decade and even the most unruly students from her worst horror stories have more sense than Evan A Kilgore

Not sure I was using it as an insult though.

I suppose that’s one way to interpret it.

Another way to interpret it might be that this person actually needs some kind of additional help, to understand and function effectively in the world around them.

Along with roughly 70 million others.
