Yes, considering how the Raspberry Pi has generally become rather unaffordable lately. System power leaves a lot to be desired, but the price point is going to draw a lot of eyes. It's a good point to enter the market at least. However, if it has no RVA32 support. General support of it might be pretty narrow.
I'm thinking of it as an alternative to a software emulated RISC-V more than anything else
I think the rk3588 based boards are a better bang for the buck than pi (aside from my continual disappointment from how the managed things during the pandemic, but thats a whole other thing), and some esp32 boards fill the other gaps, but thats how I think about things, obviously not an answer for everyone.
But even with the really comparatively bad performance of this little guy, its still going to be way better than emulated I think. Of course, I'll have to buy one to confirm that. A perfect excuse! ๐
