And the only thing they're getting is reinstatement of illegally fired employees and a vote on healthcare.
Sure maybe it'll be bad for some Republicans to vote against healthcare, but that doesn't mean anything to those that rely on it.
Thankfully this is only partial funding. Some parts of the government will get full funding and others will be on another CR through January.
If Republicans vote no on healthcare then by the time tge funding on CR expires Americans will be paying higher healthcare prices. Giving them more leverage to force a yes vote with the second round of budget talks.
I get what they are trying to do, but caving now with no real solutions makes them look weak to the public and definently erodes their power
Not even a vote on healthcare, but a promise of a vote on healthcare.
A healthcare bill that will probably give even more tax cuts to billionaires, de-fund climate change, and require ICE to beat orphans and women.
