Blue checkmarks fund Nazis
Tadhg is an Irishman who was on the Gaza flotilla. Good lad, but I wish people like him would get off that damn platform and let it fester.
Yup, anyone left on there is keeping that platform of hate afloat. Time to get up and leave the Nazi table.
I no longer buy into the idea either that it's better to stay on it to "reach more people" with your politics. I think it's far beyond that now. In my opinion it would be more damaging to Musk and his fascist ilk if all the remaining good people left and let it descend even further into an extremist echo chamber.
But where ? Oh right Mastodon & Pleroma. As long as it isn't BlueSky. I'm good
Didn't they start handing blue checks to high-profile people that didn't ask for them? Some time soon after they immediately became a marker of accounts run by warped knobheads
I would delete my account the moment that Nazi symbol was forced onto the account.
Or just delete the account regardless and walk away from the Nazi bar. Pretty simple.
I deleted my account the day dickface bought the platform. I only ever really used it to send my screenshots from my switch to the internet.
I deleted mine then, too. But I actually used it (lurker). Wish I had gotten a list of my follow first but I regret nothing.
I only used it for the Minecon vote thingies.
I would delete my account the moment I'm too lazy to check if I've already deleted it.
