In the provincial election a few months ago, where I live, the Conservative party won. The vote was literally split 1/3 1/3 1/3 (Cons, NDP, Green). Cons took the seat with a 30% vote (won by 179 votes). I'm not saying strategic voting is a good thing, but the (voting) system itself needs reform so that it accurately represents the people.

I got that (smartvote) from r/Nanaimo, and apparently, the data hasn't been updated since the election was called today. I will be as we go forward, though.
