Meanwhile Americans still eating fucking eggs like Gaston, and freaking out whenever the price goes up because they have a dozen a day.
Dude had 60 eggs every morning. That means there's basically an entire henhouse dedicated to his breakfast.
Meanwhile, in town there's a woman panicking to get just a few eggs, and the rest of the food in town seems overpriced.
Gaston was wrecking the local economy with his appetite.
Ngl I had a whole analysis of the scene and the world they were in prepared until I realized I was being autistic and WAYYY too literal. It was like ten paragraphs. I had rewatched and scrubbed through the scene and looked up stuff about France and inventors and royalty...............
