I scrolled pretty far and didn't see a single mention of Marle from Chrono Trigger (or I'm blind). Needles to say, she was mine. I've always had a thing for redheads ๐
I always thought she was blonde.

It's close, but the hue is just red enough for my book. I won't argue with anyone calling it blonde though. The official box art (both JP and NTSC) shows her slightly more orange than the sprite too.
When I was playing chrono trigger the first time, I associated all the characters with friends. About 15 years later I married the woman I associated with Marle/Nadia, so I think my subconscious was telling me something.
