Today's game is some more Final Fantasy 7 Remake. I did the Hell House boss fight today and jesus, it was tough. I barely managed to make it through first try and it was by the skin of my teeth. In the last stage i wasn't able to really get any spells in because it kept killing my party members any time i filled the bar, so i basically had Aerith on healing duty and cloud spamming potions until things aligned and i got a spell in on the arm. I didn't even end up killing it with a Stagger ironically, as just attacking to fill the bar did enough damage to kill it. Never thought i'd struggle to fight a house.
I enjoyed wandering around Wall Market (for the most part). If it wasn't for the more eye raising parts of it i'd say it's a pretty town.
Going up to the Don's mansion was an especially interesting sight. It looks almost out of place here, then again rich people tend to be weird like that and build the most out of place houses imaginable.
When i got the massage scene i paid for the 3,000 gil one, thinking that maybe it would give me some sort of buff, even temporary (hence the different price brackets). But poor Cloud just came out of it looking uncomfortable. Sorry buddy, i legit thought it would give you a buff.
The Cutter fight in the Arena i had an easy time with. Just whack em' until my lightning spell was charged and strike while keeping pressure and health up with Aerith. I honestly struggled more with the fight with the gang before. They had guns and could hit me from the other side of the arena.
Ultimately though, i made it through and beat the Hell House after ten minutes of fighting. It was fun seeing the flowers build up. I got to the part where i get the side quests for the chapters and stopped. I wanted to keep going but it was late and i had no clue how long this chapter would go on for.
Oh man the Hell House made me chuckle because it was in the original and it's just so absurd to see it in high definition graphics haha.
So happy to follow along with your screen shots. I love this series and game and it's nice to see other people go through it too.
I ended up going to google it for the original and found out it was a common enemy. It just so outlandish i wanted to know what the original context was. It is interesting to know it was always kind of out of place though
Lol I feel like they added it simply because of all the people saying that of all Midgar enemies, there's no way it'd fit in. Tbf, they truly jumped the shark with this one out of spite for what they could or should do in their game.
