A groyper is a made up term by maga. Its only purpose is to allow maga to distance itself from when one of their cult members follows through on the rhetoric and hate that maga preaches. That is all this term is. It is so that maga can still be as racist and bigoted as they want to be, but distance themselves from the violent acts of their own people. Do not believe anything else you read about this term.
